My Car Has a Mind of Its Own (And It Took My Keys)
Alright, folks, I need to share something crazy. My car is officially possessed. No, seriously! It started with the little things - the radio turning itself to polka music at unspeakable hours, the wipers going wild on a clear day. But yesterday, it crossed a serious threshold. I was heading out to get some gasoline, and when I went back inside for my keys, bam! My car had decided to make a break for it with the remote in its glove compartment.
- I swear
- It zoomed away like a scene from The Fast and the Furious, leaving me standing there with my jaw on the ground.
So, here I am. Stuck at home, with no car and a mounting fear that my trusty ride is plotting its next move. I need advice, people! How do you deal with a car that has a mind of its own?
Stuck Outside With No Spare Keys
Sweat trickled down my neck as I stared at the sealed door. My mind raced, trying to remember any detail about how I'd left the house this morning. Had I even taken a key with me? The thought was unthinkable. I desperately patted my bags, coming up empty. This predicament had a serious potential to deteriorate.
- Perhaps there was a window I could use?
- A wave of panic crushed me.
There was no way I would survive this. My phone was dead, and getting assistance seemed out of reach.
